It's a beautiful place and really worth a visit...others have given you the link which gives you loads of information. As another answerer said...it's ok going down but walking back up is a bit of a devil because it is so steep...so wear flatish shoes....although you could just be lazy and hop on the landrover at the back of the hotel...the donkeys are still there but they don't give rides anymore...

Go and see it, you won't regret it!

I used to go to Devon as a child the village that sticks in my mind is Clovelly it has beautiful cobbled streets. I remember stopping in a tea shop for strawberries and clotted cream. I have never had strawberries again that lived up to the experience.

A lovely place you can walk down its steep road and get a land Rover ride back up.Take the camera though.

Yes it is a pedestrian free cobbled roads, and is by the sea.
A good centre for walking

Its a beautiful village with a lovely 'main street'. If you are close by it I would definitely suggest you pay a visit... MMMMM lovely scones, clotted cream and jam too!

Beautifully place... but the hill....its ok going down but going up it awful.
