i am buying a 67 wild cat (buick) with the original 430 big block. no dents, interior is beautiful, ac still works, has 143,000 original miles. i got to test drive....WOW!! car has a lot of power. my question is how much would you offer for it. the paint is brand new. it also has some hard to find rims for that particular model. it looks really tough and mysterious from the back. everything works. old guy just wants to sell it. i said 1000.00 and he said to call him the next day. did i get a deal? and how much is this car really worth out on the market?

As a judge and a seller of vintage american cars with out looking at the car its worth anywhere from 4000-8000 maybe more. A 66 buick just sold for a little over 11500. 1960's & 70's american "boats" and muscle cars are a hot item right now. Pick up Hemmings motor news or check their web site. You will get a feel of whats going on in todays market.

Dude! That is a great deal!! I saw a '67 wildcat with a small block replacement motor, 200 K miles, and it had bad paint and it smoked like Joe Camel go at a classic car auction for $3000. The guy later sold it the same day for $4000. GET IT QUICK or let me know where it is. I'll drive from Texas.

I not sure he will call back.
As mentioned the car worth much more. My Mother had one with a 350 Rocket and it sold for an easy $3,500 with a dented passenger door.
But, if he not worried about the money, you never know.

he porbably said to call the next day so he could laugh his *** off. that car with the original motor is worth at least 5000, and that would be in bad condition
