Yes, all of the time, I use it to correct people, before the class I had the same small perception of most religons, now that I know a lot more about them I inform people when they make incorrect assumptions. I don't do it to be a smartass, but to let them know that what most think about foreign ideas are biased and misinformed.

Yes i took many of them and you would be suprised how useful it is..espeically against the religious who, more often than not, have no idea what their books really say.

Religion class has given me ideas and also good data to show how the "faithful" are falling far short of their religion's teaching with many of their positions

certain, I did, and that i nevertheless own the textbook, as I evaluate it a sacrilege to eliminate a e book, no matter if there is no longer a danger in hell i will ever crack the binding on it again. I keep in mind the kind became fairly interesting, yet i do not keep in mind the coach, nor what he/she gave the impact of. i'm particular that I took it to fulfill an optional requirement, and that it became an rather elementary A.

Yes. I have. I use the information to inform the people of that religion that they haven't studied it.

when I was at school I was not interested.....
later I became interested in Buddhism, today I also like to interpretate myself other religions including Cristhian.
Mainly I believe in science and ethic, Buddhism is not a religion, is more a science which explane how the nature of all things is interdependent, mind and body, emotions and so on....
if someone is not interested at all means it is a materialist.

I have... I took a bunch of them, now I'm an anthropologist specializing in Religious Anthropology. I study different groups and help other people understand why religious groups believe what they believe.

I attend at Unitarian Church and we teach and lean all religions. They seem pretty objective and informative, but it depends on what you are trying to learn.
