This world is not disposable like many Christians would lead you to believe. We need to take actions to preserve it. Global Warming is REAL. If we do not act soon, we will destroy our only home.

We are doomed, you're all too stupid or delusion to recognize that WE are destroying this world. Jesus isn't coming back to get you, so we need to take the steps to ensure the lives of our children.

Global Warming is Entirely man-made. CO2 levels and temperatures are the highest they have been in over 650,000 years.

No actually, out of over 900 scientists asked, 0 doubted that Global Warming was man-made. You are just another dogmatic moron.

The only ones who don't believe Global Warming is man made are creation scientists. Which is the same thing as a Creation Brainsurgeon. I bet he'd be trying to dump more "dust" in your skull to fix the problem.

It doesn't make a difference if YOU are not sure. Why do the TOP SCIENTISTS in the WORLD think we are causing it? Why are levels SIGNIFICANTLY higher than ever?

I agree with you on all the points you've made. I wish more people would realize the affect they are having the on the planet and realize this is the only habitable ones we have.
The atmospheric concentration of carbon dioxide from burning of fossil fuel such as coal, gas, and oil has increased 30 percent since the start of the Industrial Revolution, to the highest level in 450,000 years. The greenhouse gas methane is up 145 percent. Nitrous oxide is up 15 percent. Evidence that this is causing real and dramatic change in the world is mounting. The decade of the 1990s was the warmest on historical (not geological) record. The Artic icepack has thinned 40 percent in the past 20 years. The Alps have lost half their glacial mass since the nineteenth century, and the snow from Africa’s Mount Kilimanjaro may be entirely gone in fifteen years. Shrubs are growing in the Artic Tundra. Mosquitoes are found at higher elevations in the tropics, carrying diseases that are pushing bird species to extinction in places like Hawaii. And this may be just the beginning. The International Panel of Climate Control, representing twenty-five hundred scientists, says average global temperatures could climb up to 6 degrees C in the twenty-first century. Now that might not sound bad, until you realize that a rise of 6 degrees could shift the climate zones 500 miles toward either pole, disrupting agriculture, watersheds, and snowpack.

What does Global Warming and Christians have in common, exactly?
Also how many people in this world do you honestly know, That you could assume who's taking action and who's not? You don't
For all you know, every Christian in one little town, Are converting their Cars for Ethanol? Do you know?
Do you know what kind of life I live? Do you know if I recycle? Do you know if I am a meat eater or a Vegetarian? Do you know what kind of Car I drive and the fuel I use? NO YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING.
Let me tell you one thing, I am a Christian and I DO NOT BELIEVE THIS WORLD IS DISPOSABLE.
Nor does ANY OTHER CHRISTIAN I KNOW.
But here we go again, Your just another person out there who is judgmental and makes CRAP UP in the their own little narcissistic head.
By the way, When you do some research on Global Warming, You will find that many scientist believe it's not OUR fault.

What the hell have Christians got to do with greenhouse gasses and global warming? And as an atheist what do YOU plan on doing to improve our planet? Christians have values and pray that our world is not destroyed because of greed.
Why don't you whine where it counts.? Tell your local politicians how you feel, and don't waste time in Yahoo answers. I'm sure your input will be more than welcome. Give some money to active charities such as greenpeace, and stop being an idle big mouth. Be pro active in matters that concern this planet. It is not all doom and gloom, and if that onion head Bush would sign up to the world treaty on Global warming, that would be a good start.

Human self centeredness is the culprit. The Christian view point has created many problems in the west but the Eastern Block countries and China have done a lot of environmental damage too.
Not a simple problem with no simple solutions.

We're not destroying the world. We're just making it uninhabitable for people. The planet is fine. It's the people that are in trouble, to paraphrase George Carlin. To be fair to Christians, there are some eco friendly branches of Christianity that view themselves as stewards of the earth. They say earth is a gift from God, so it should be preserved.

No. In reality, Christians and their ethics are helping the earth AND its peoples. If you really want to look at a religion that is dangerous, violent, and promotes death and destruction to people and the earth, look to islam. Read the koran, you will be blown away how it says to kill and terrorize non-muslims and to take over the world. How many Christians do you see killing people and being intolerant of other religions?
650k years? You are listening to the wrong people. Look at actual studies from all over the world. We are in a slight warming period, but are still cooler that a warming period we had around 150 years ago. Where was our influence then? The earth fluctuates in temp. 30 years ago, you people were dooming the earth to the next ice age. I have to laugh at your ignorance. Open your eyes and your mind to ACTUAL facts and not ideology extremism.

authentic, there is a few angles to this question. First - Christianity is created from many factions - there is no longer any singular interpretation. With Witnesses, there is largely one interpretation - if all of us thinks in yet in any diverse case, they on the on the spot are literally not a Witness (rather polarizing) Secondly: Christians commonly worship Christ. Witnesses used to, yet now they worship Jehovah thoroughly. Jesus is larger of a instructor/prophet, who has a well-known functionality by technique of utilising actuality the Son of God. imagine of of him as a Prince and Jehovah by technique of utilising actuality the King. in case you talk over with Jesus as your Savior in a Kingdom hall, you receives corrective seems from those round you - the global revolves round worship of the Jewish God Jehovah. Thirdly: The Governing body (or organisation) supersedes all of this. If a Witness believes God's observe is telling them some thing, although the Governing body teaches them some thing else - they could prefer to regulate to the corporate. there is no longer any danger for practise contained contained in the route of the holy spirit. they trust holy spirit exists in 3 places: Kingdom hall, field Ministry and Bible (e book) study - circumstances that are thoroughly managed by technique of utilising the Society and that is instructions. finally: you've innovations in Christianity, and may typically save your acquaintances and kin at the same time as making those innovations.

I don't think it is the actual spirituality of Christianity or Christian views that is the problem. Christianity is just a popular or PC slip cover for the greedy and a-moral to throw on before they go out in public. Much in the same way the KKK now calls themselves "Christian Identity".

Think about this.
According to Christianity -- Man is the pinnacle of Creation, Man is the PURPOSE of Creation.
The evidence is that we are evolving. If we evolve to the point we are no longer Homo Sapiens Sapiens, it proves, conclusively, that Christianity is false.
Christians have a NEED to destroy the planet, because if they do not, their religion will be proven wrong.
--------------
Entirely man made?
Then how do you explain the fact that global temperatures have in fact been higher before, during the Medieval Warm Period. The population explosion was caused by climate favorable to agriculture.
No, we're only about 50% of this problem.
The sun, in the past century, has been putting out progressively more energy. Though this may only be a fraction of a percent change, the Earth is extremely susceptible to these tiny fluctuations because of its heat capacity.
