Firstly why all the male hating?????

There are numerous reasons I use to be able to text as quickly as my female friends but now I am almost as slow as my mother is. Sometimes they may be busy with other things and may not have the time or they are busy and what to give your text the time it should get. I know a lot of men who are old fashioned in the sense that they would rather talk to someone face to face. I'm not a big texter and that is the reason for it. You watch any woman sending a text and then any man and more often than not the woman will text faster. My sister by the time you sent her a text you've had a reply and it's annoying as it's there already within seconds it makes men feel like that the text wasn't really that important.

Here is the biggest thing men don't tend to know or use as much txt tlk as women do so they may be trying to figure out what you said or ment.

3. Guys don't think that chatting is important (and constant texting back & forth is getting on his nerves anyway, since he has nothing important to say)

Ha ha because they like to observe how you will respond. Some men like playing games, sometimes they deliberately will not answer at all. Its human nature for people to test the water to how much they can get away with. Best not to make a fuss and show you have not noticed. looking needy is never attractive (Only to those wolves who would exploit you)

I apologize, but based on growing up with two brothers and numerous boyfriends, they don't like to fiddle with the texting crap. To them there are more important things other then texting, doesn't mean there interest in you is not apparent. I suppose if it is and important issue and requires immediate responses then they would text you back. But seriously I can 85% of the normal hetrosexual guys out there don't bother with texting !

Emoting is much more painful than action, so men would much rather illustrate with actions than put something into words. Easier to spell out your name in flower bulbs under your window sill than SMS you.
