And please don't tell that its just people sharing there view points. It's easy to hide behind a computer screen and argue.

From what I have witnessed, some people make things ugly for all. The same is true for Yahoo Answers. People just don't realize that we are all here together, brothers , sisters , mothers, fathers, neighbors and friends. How long will it take before we wake up and say, "I'm hurting someone!" People nowadays have developed a sense of apathy and a heart that is cold. Just look at all the homeless in America and all the toys us Americans have. Boats, houses full of decor, vacations what about the suffering?

I found the same thing a year ago, and for some strange reason, I still come out here regularly. All I can suggest is to ignore the juvenile questions and concentrate on the quality questions and answers.

Also, a newer phenomenon. There are a lot of intelligent regulars that are getting tired of the same old questions and so they have a drinking game where they drink to any commonly-asked question.

Yes, there is an incredible amount of generalizations and stereotypes, so I'm glad that people like you are coming on here. Believe me, I've tried many times to ask for this to change, but I think we just have to accept the fact that there are immature people out there, or people who think they are funny by answering this way.

If more people like you come on board, we will get better questions and answers. Thanks for sharing!!

How can you just be discovering their is so much hate and intolerance in the world. All you have to do is look at Iraq (both our invasion and the resulting fighting between the different Iraqi groups, Somalia, Dafur, the US and the tirades against Mexican immigrants, homosexuality, liberals and right wing depending on your side, China's treatment of Tibetans and other groups, the US embargo against Cuba etc etc. If it took YA to show you the hate and intolerance in this world, you need to read more newspapers and get involved in world events and even US events. This should be no surprise.

After you are told you are going to burn in Hell about the fourth time there's a natural tendency toward becoming testy.

A curse is a curse, even when couched in scriptural language with its names and numbers.

A lie, is a lie, even when out of context scriptural quotes are used to bolster it.

Example: The is a big difference between disgusting and hell bound. Yet the definition of the word "Abomination" is "disgusting" not, you are wrong, or sinning, or on your way to hell. Though it appears that most Christians have never looked the word up and accept the word "abomination" as a synonym of criminal, perverted, and condemned. The word is also used and abused in more than just the infamous phrases on gays and lesbians.

I knew there was hate, but I didn't know it was this bad until I came on here. It's really sad the way some people choose to act. It's just another sign that we're living in the Last Days. (2 Timothy 3:1-5) I just try to give respectful, honest and Bible-based answers to questions. If I'm bashed for it, it's not me they're really bashing...It's God and His Word the Bible. His day is soon to come, and when it does, they'll be plenty of people who'll be wishing they had acted a bit nicer. This goes for the religious and non-religious. Hope that answers your question.

I agree. I have been a Christian for 5 years+/-. I have travelled to the other side of the world and back more than once. I have been face to face with Muslims, atheists, and even witch doctors and have never encountered the bashing I have here. I can tell you why too. It's because those doing it have to much idle time and can hide behind a funny picture and screen name. Most of them are also probably very young and full of themselves. Life will knock them around in time and they will either become angrier or come to their senses.

You are right, and i don't post as much as i used to. It seems pointless, as it seems that no one cares to listen to what others have to say. I see it all the time where there was a question posted and the answers are rude and ugly and don't even address the whole question.
It's kinda sad.
So, i go to other catagories where people are nice and helpful. I like the uplifting feeling away from R and S. Ha... I have to run from religion to get a good feeling. wow.

No we don't but fortunately it's a minor group.
Most people are nice. Some are just afraid to show it.
And there are all sorts of people. Also mean ones.
I always wonder why they are this way, what's the fun in hurting others???

Well if you go on you tube it's the same thing. I bet you most of the racist comment made on here are from people that are less than the age of 18.

Yes I knew how foul and hateful people are, yes indeed I did. I live in the American South. Firsthand experience. Both sides can be insufferable.
