dont exercise every day - your body needs one day a week off to repair itself.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

yeah it will...but if you are not used to running, you might not want to start off doing it every day or your legs will really hurt. Maybe run every other day and do something that is lower impact on the between days - the eliptical and stairmaster are good, swimming is great if you have access to a pool. Really if you are doing some sort of exercise that hets your heartrate going for at least 15-20 minutes several times per week you will start losing fat, getting muscle, looking better and feeling great. Adding weights is a great idea and good food is a must!

combine it with a strength training regimen, because if you increase your muscle mass, you also increase your RESTING metabolic rate. In other words, you'll burn calories faster all throughout the day, whether you're working out or not. And eat less. Don't "diet" per se... just eat a sensible amount of food. Like maybe 2000 calories a day.

Of course it will, it will burn off calories and running, jogging or walking is really the bset way to actually burn fat off of your entire body. You can also walk because you burn the same amount of fat cells if you walk a mile or run a mile, it just takes longer to walk it! Good luck, oh and diet healthy please!
