All sound about the same.

Sure, they have important doctrinal differences (dipping versus dunking versus double dipping), but they all take on the same persona and ask the same irrelevant questions like they have access to the same hive mind, however compartmentalized.

Are they the pod people?

Not at all.

They are soo different that to say they sound about the same is just as wrong as saying muslims and christians can truly be best friends and that 911 never happend and that oil is actually going to cost us only 98 cents a gallon.

you see their IMPORTANT DOCTRINAL differences are just that. important.. too important to be any thing alike.

for example, i can say that a christian and atheist are alike because they both want to help the world.

But they are different. the Atheist would prolly try to end religion and the christian would prolly pray for the atheist to find GOD.

in a way yeah they sounded alike, but when you looked at their actions they were not. so no. they are not in any way a pod people

Ooooooh! You're REALLY in trouble now! Thousands of the odd people - 'Fundies', JWs, Mormons and Baptists - will now be praying for you - in the nicest possible way! (Not the Branch Davidians, though, 'cause they all died - horribly - which is one relevant difference to start with.)

One problem - JW, LDS, and Branch Dividians follow a man, not God. Doctrine-wise, there is a huge difference between true Christianity and the other's mentioned.

So, no, they don't sound the same. And, not, I was born of my momma, not out of a pod...

from a jewish perspective, i sometimes wonder why there are so many opposing christian views. it seems as though every group has decided that only they are going to heaven and everyone else is wrong.

they constantly fight as to who is "better", with a lot of harsh words being said. didn't anyone read the bible where it says "love thy neighbor?"

seriously guys, we all serve one G-d. isn't that enough?

What I do not understand about those who post question like this is, why do you care? I don't get it? Why do you think about stuff like religions and God and post questions just to get a rise out of people? It boggles the mind.

No. Perhaps you are a member of the 'pod' group, judging from your 'questions'.
