I really want one of my own. I think they are so cute in their little blue uniforms. Are they expensive ? Are they hard to look after? Do they eat much? If i got one i would expect him to sleep in my bed, Do they come on heat often ?

I'm your "huckleberry!" I need a good sugarmama!

Despite what some say about "after a few years we blow up." Ummmm...not here!

I can cuddle up on the pillow and my maintenance is low...just like my paycheck!

Best wishes!

I think that you pretty much have us figured out. With the trend of getting away from wool uniforms, we are easier to care for than ever.
We can be a bit expensive to look after, but I am sure that with the right training even the most careless of us could learn to economize.
I am sure the right policeman would make an ideal pet, and most are housebroken by the age of 30!

Personally, I don't recommend a cop for a pet. Young cops may be cute, but as they age they get irritable with tendency to snap for the smallest reason.

Their upkeep can be expensive. The younger ones always want the biggest/newest toys (guns, cars, radios), but the older ones are more content with what they have always had. The older ones are sometimes not acceptable to changes.

Their diet (donuts and coffee) may be cheap, but it gives them terrible gas, and there is nothing worse than a hungry cop when there is no Krispy Kreme in sight.

They are extremely hard to look after, since they want to go and investigate everything they see, hear, or smell.

Cops are ALWAYS in heat. That may/may not be a good thing, depending on the size, endurance, and overall health of the cop.

I would recommend a puppy. They're easier to housebreak

I would never regard myself as someones pet, and the ones that do have very little respect for themselves.
Be cautious of the ones that do email you in regards to your question. They're still trying to find the basement in their trailer home.

Cop for a pet?

Bad idea. Oh, sure, they look nice at first, but wait a few years, and watch them balloon up!

Personality wise, they're somewhat like a cat. One minute personable and cuddly, next minute out the door, and don't want to see you, while they act tough with the other cats.

Depending on the model and age you get, they might be in heat ALL THE TIME! So watch out, because yours might not be the only bed they sleep in! Like teenagers, they can sleep all day because of their weird schedules.

Food? Depends on the model you get. Mostly, they subsist on fast food and antacids, with some showing a preference for sugary pastries.

Expensive? Only in therapy you'll end up paying for....

No it would not. Generally it is cops whom desire to keep people as pets.

People who talk bad about Police Officers, are lowlifes who have something to hide!

I had one, wasn't that good, had mommy issues. He kept breaking the chain and getting away so I finally gave him to a girl I know.

Some of them can be mean, use donut treats to train them, but don't give them too many donut treats as they are prone to obesity.

It would make about as good a pet as a snake.
