Do you think his philosophy or combat conceptions is true? Can they be apllied to any field?
I think he said something like: "If we don't do anything, our dreams will never come true".

Yes, I believe the concept of using what works and discarding what is outdated is applicable to any field. Both arts and sciences are in a constant state of evolution and my take on his philosophy was just that.

bruce lee was an actor, all his philosophy are all theoretically concepts from other form of art, basically,JDK is just taking bit of pieces from other fighting style, and called itself JDK.if JKD was true, ppl would've apply it into UFC or Pride Fighter. But it's not, btw, all those books,it was just loose notes that Bruce Lee had copied from other style but after his death, his wife had hired someone who doesnt have a clue about fighting to put it together so she'd make a few bucks, beside, when was the last time u'd heard a JKD fighter on UFC or Pride Fighter as a champion?if u want to learn real fighting, take boxing, call me a hater, call me a bruce lee basher, but true to the fact is that, how could one claims that one is a fighter when one had never step inside the ring?maybe back in the old days,i might've believed u cuz of lack of resources, but these days with the power of google.i dont think so.

yes, any philosophy can be applied to any action or situation, whatever. The level to which it can be applied is dependent on how well the person can apply it.

It's like teaching someone basic boxing; each student, given the same training, will come out of it able to apply it differently (better or worse) than the other students that underwent the exact same training.

The same is true for any philosophy as well; iot all depends on how good you are at aplying it.

Yes, his concept and fighting techniques can be used in any field. If you can get the book Jeet Kune Do volume 3 it will help you understand his ideas, I know it helped me. As an avid martial artist in Taekwondo, I seek to apply all that I've learned from other styles and what I've read.

i believe that bruce lee was light years ahead of his time. as far as his personal and combat philosophies go, they are interwined, not seperate.
so the answer to your question is certainly yes! if you are to realize your dreams, or goals you must take certain measurable actions to achieve that what you believe, like his jkd combat beliefs, you must be clear headed, relaxed, and most of all...flexible, you must be willing to adapt to change and be able to embrace that change! you must expect victory and do what is necessary to achieve that victory.
i am sure you can see how these ideas work equally as well for both combat and life situations.
hope this enlightened you in some way.

I believe Sugar Ray Leonard acknowledged using the same philosophy in his fights and a cellist whose name escapes me also used it in tackling difficult concerto pieces. But basically, his philosophy transcends the martial arts. So yes, it can be applied to other fields.
