No she cannot be forced to marry him as any consent for marriage by force & fraud can be challenged in the court as void able marriage. Otherwise there was no consideration in such promise that can make this an agreement enforceable as a contract.

Marriage or the promise to marry, is not seen as a contract and so the agreement cannot be enforced. Sorry, put it down to experience and move on with your life

Yes. As per the provisions of The Indian Contract Act he can file a suit for breach of contract. The contract may be Oral or written.Oral contracts are very difficult to be proved. He has to prove the oral contract between her and him.He must prove that he had suffered damages by the breach of her promise.

No. People change their minds. People break promises all the time you cant force someone to marry you. That kind of promise you cant make. People grow apart. Let it go, if she doesn't wanna marry you let her be.

THE PROMISE TO MARRY WAS WITHOUT ANY CONSIDERATION. THEREFORE IT IS NOT AN ENFORECEABLE CONTRACT.SHE DID NOT ACCEPT ANYTHING TO CARRY OUT HER PROMISE. THE BREACH OF PROMISE IS NOT A BREACH OF AGREEMENT. IT DOES NOT EVEN AMOUNT TO CHEATING. THERE IS NO LAW TO FORCE HER TO MARRY. NO COURT CAN ORDER HER TO MARRY THE SUPPOSEDLY CHEATED BOY. THE PROMISE WAS WITHIOUT ANY TRANSACTION. LET HER REST IN PEACE.

There is no law that will force a person to marry someone. Sorry...................go find someone else, who would want to marry a person who was forced to submit, that would never work.
