You have a wide range of cars there. But you said you would like to pay it off in 24 months, the least expenssive car is the Kia about 11K worth of junk and the Chrysler being the most expensive car at about 20K. Your payments would also vary as wide. And you want it to be pretty, and last at least four years.
Good lawyers do not let thier feelings get the best of them, let logic be your guide, think about it.
Look at the Toyota Corolla CE, add a wing for $300. Finance at a credit union, skip the dealer warrenty if you want a warrenty then buy Mechanical Breackdown Insurance at the credit union. Use the internet to locate the best price in your area.
When you start making the money then you can afford a pretty car
Good Luck.

Of the ones you mentioned, the Elantra is probably the best as far as reliability goes. Hyundai has improved dramatically in the past few years. Then the Mazda, Saturn and Kia in that order.

I'd skip the Cobalt and the Sebring completely. Terrible cars with miserable reliability histories.

If you want top reliability, look into either the Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla. They're similarly priced to the ones you listed and are two of the best cars on the road.

If you're buying brand new, go with the Kia or Hyundai. Both have vastly improved their quality in the last few years (which figures, as they are the same company now). They are also the cheapest cars on your list and also have the best warranty (5 year bumper-to-bumper, 10 year powertrain), so you won't have to worry about any out-of-pocket repairs while you're in school. The re-sale value probably won't be great, but by the time you want to get rid of it you'll be a lawyer pulling down big bank so who really cares, right? ;-)

Okay if I were you, and if you are in the market for a car. Plan on attending lawschool. There are other options out there. Such as buying a ten year old car with a hundred thousand miles. Those tend to last from 2 to 5 years depending on how well you maintain them. We basically drive our cars into the ground. For the price of it we pay basically around 2,000 grand in cash. Plus there is an advangtage of having a mechanic in the family as well. That way your major expense is out of the way, plus you only have to get minimum insurance like liability for you car. And taxes won't cost you that much either.
