With my Nerd Sense of Intution +3 I'm sensing that you are experiencing problems with your monitor. Hmm yes, an LCD... keeps turning itself off... I see, but... well, obviously you can't.

Try turning it on and off repeatedly, just with the button at the front. If after 10 minutes it doesn't get better, throw it out and buy a new one. Repairing the part that's broken costs about the same as buying a new one.
