my brother wants to go and see a medium to see if he can make contact but i think its too soon am i right

i mean to soon by her passing am older and no he does not know yet which medium knowing him it will be a random one

he will make contact but it wont be with your guys mom . it will be something darker and more Hannis it is a creature that will lie and do what ever it can to gain your trust so it can take over you and control you so it can keep spreading its lies . please just for one sec don't believe that someone can conjure these things up and control them . here's a thought how munch can you control things that you see compared to that which you can not see. I'm talking about things that you can see ,smell, touch , taste and hear . when a person goes to the people they have no control its a deception and a lie . depending on what you believe your mom is sleeping in the rest of god in tell the time of awaking . in different kinds of religions no one stays around in a spirit form and stays around family and friends they move on to the other world or other form of existence . there is two kinds of forces in this world the dark and the light the light moves on while the dark stays here and spreads it deception so please look in this more before doing this .

So sorry to hear of your mum's passing. Two weeks is such a short time, however if your brother feels that he needs to make contact (with a reputable medium) and that is his way of coping, then support him, but it doesn't mean you have to go with him.
From a spiritual perspective, time in the spirit world works very differently to ours on the Earth plane. Your mum may be more than ready to make that connection, but those left behind may not be. There are no right or wrong answers with this, just go with what feels right for you.

I think you should give her a chance to get settled and to gain strength before trying to contact her. Two weeks is really too short. What sort of time were you thinking about? You're unlikely to get an appointment with a reputable medium very quickly anyway, so you could make the appointment now and ask the medium's advice as to the best time to try to make contact. That should satisfy your brother.

Condolences on your loss. My own mother passed away the 6th of this month. She had Alzheimer's and was in very bad shape. I found her and called the nurses to her bed. I know they must have thought I was crazy (and you may to) for I kept repeating Thank you God. I know mother has a new body, her hair is red again and she has no pain. The only thing harder than losing a child is the loss of a mother. God will see you and your brother through this. Seek His peace and compassion. He will not let you down. You will find your solace in Him, just ask He is always ready to take care of His children.

Yes i would say it`s too soon, maybe would be a good idea to give it more time so he can first come to terms with his loss and then will be better able to deal with going to a medium. He may have some unanswered questions and feels this will help. Grief counselling is a good thing to think about to..

The only decent answer is that such things are all a big con, and you would be wasting your time and money, and possibly setting yourself up for greater sadness or being taken advantage of in other ways. So-called 'mediums' are charlatans - there is no 'after-life' so they are just carrying out a fraud. Remember your mum with love, and accept that she's gone.

My sincere condolences to you and your brother. I have often thought about seeing a medium to try and get contact with my father , friends and my beloved Alsatian but am too scared too. I know you must be grieving and the hurt is still very bad but i think it is better to remember your Mother the way she was and not to interfere with the dead. Your mother is gone. Mediums are fakes, and no-one can "contact" your mother, because she no longer exists.
However, she persists in your memory of her. Right now you and your brother and others who knew her make up her entire existence. You can honor her memory by living a sensible, effective life, or you can dishonor it, making a fool of yourself by taking up with fake psychics who claim to be able to contact the dead.

Can you give more information: What do you mean by, "too soon"? Which one is older, you or your brother? Does he have a medium in mind? Has he researched this medium (are there references?) Please elaborate.
