Ccleaner Light is the best, safest and is free. I've used it for 18 months without a single problem. The first time I ran it, it found 45mb of unwanted files on this account! Its never removed a file that turned out to be needed.
Run the Issues tool and let it back up the registry when it prompts you, then run the Cleaner.

ya.... no such thing exists and probably wont ever exist lol The only way for something like that to exist would be to have artificial intelligence. As there are many problems and many solutions to them, that it would be impossible for a program to just know what is causing the problem and then fix it. 100% of all problems are caused by the user. And there are infinite possibilities of things that can be changed. What a virus is when you get down to it, is nothing more then an instruction set. It just list of computer commands makes changes to your system that you can make yourself at anytime. But they are usually designed in a way to make the computer more or less unusable. blue screens tend to be hardware related. And of the hardware problems, the 2 most common are problems with your hard drive or ram. But it is possible that the blue screen stems from corrupt drivers or OS files. So to rule out the latter, you should wipe your hdd and reinstall windows to be sure its not that.

Registry Cleaners
http://mywebpages.comcast.net/SupportCD/XPMyths.html
Myth - "Registry Cleaners improve performance."
Reality - "A few hundred kilobytes of unused keys and values causes no noticeable performance impact on system operation. Even if the registry was massively bloated there would be little impact on the performance of anything other than exhaustive searches."
Notes - "Registry Cleaners can fix problems associated with traces of applications left behind due to incomplete uninstalls. So it seems that Registry junk is a Windows fact of life and that Registry cleaners will continue to have a place in the anal-sysadmin's tool chest."
