Should I go to the ER if I think I have a hernia?

I'm feeling this pain below my abdomin and I can feel it when I walk and it hurts to run.

Yes of course. You wouldn't want to strangulate your bowel now would you?

if the pain is really bad you should go to the emergency room. Call your medical doctor's office and see if you can get an emergency visit. It's always best to have a problem checked out before it becomes a true Problem.

Not unless it's unbearable. You need to go to your PCP and have him/her refer you to a surgeon if they find it to be a hernia in need of repair.
