Cut out on all 'white' foods and eat wholegrains instead such as wholemeal bread & pasta, brown rice and oats (porridge is a great way to start the day as it's really filling - try it mixed with a chopped/mashed banana or some berry fruits. Scrambled egg or baked beans on toast are good as well).
Also cut out any junk like fizzy drinks and fried foods in particular because of their high saturated fat content. Cheddar cheese is also quite high in saturated fat but does contain some health benefits so should still be alright in moderation. You could treat yourself to it about once a week grilled on toast for example.
Try to get a bit more active as well. You don't necessarily have to adopt a vigorous exercise programme down at gym in order to help shift the pounds. Simply walking to places more often is a great way of keeping in shape (if you use public transport for example, try getting off a stop early) and going swimming a couple of times a week is really effective too.
Good Luck.

Firstly watch what you eat, have a healthy diet, but if you want to see the wait dropping off join a gym.
You need to do 20 mins of excersise 3 times a week, this means getting a sweat on, depending on your current level of fitness you may start off with a brisk walk around an athletic track for 20 mins and see how many laps you get in. Obviously the more effort you have to put in the better.
Do not touch weights if you want to lose weight, you must stick to cardio....excercise bikes, rowing machines etc.

i comprehend you want to lose all of it in 4 months. however, the wholesome fee of dropping weight is two pounds or a million kg each and every week. So this ought to take you 8 months, i'm afraid. however, i'm constructive anybody would be quite inspired with the two stone in 4 months, and you have to be greater effective than happy with that for a marriage and a trip!

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Eat healthy and exercise a bit. I've just lost 2 stone so I could be a healthy weight. That was how I did it. Fruit or toast for breakfast, Sandwhich for lunch and a salad for my dinner. I went out for an hour walk every night and just rushed around more. The weight just dropped off!!

Hi
i suggest you make an appointment with the GP and he/she will check out your overall health and then will probably refer you onto the practise nurse, she will offer you great advice and be a sounding board for your worries and will not judge you - and will support you all the way.
for what its worth i need to lose about the same weight and my partner has a saying "eat less, move more" ... it kind of makes sense doesn't it? although i eat well, i also excercise - i eat because i am sad, moody, bored, etc.. emotional things.. and not just because i am hungry.. so i am using hypnotherapy to help me on my journey of re-educating my mind and body! ..
good luck

I guess that you've tryed diets before?? The diet that worked best for me was the low carb diet. I was allowed to eat as much as I wasnted of the allowed food. Alot of people will tell you its bad, but it does work. Go to www.atkins.com and have a look. Good luck.

at the moment I'm on a diet and its working really well. cut out all fizzy drinks have plenty of water. no junk food at all. not even for a snack. eat salads and white meat is meant to be good. grill your foods or don't use much oil i use baking paper which hasn't got fat in it, it just stops the food from sticking. and plenty of exercise start of with 20 min walks each day and gradually work yourself up to a walking time you feel comfortable with.
good luck i hope you succeed
