i'm a 13 year old girl who weighs 170 pounds..by january 2008,i wanna loose 50-60 pounds..but my problem is..i don't know what i should eat..please give me a diet suit for a 13 year old..a diet that is safe and a diet that really works..please help me!

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

im 13 and u wanna lose what? 60 pounds!?! thatll make u very skinny which u dont wanna do. first start off with little steps like just walking/jogging around ur block increasing the blocks every 3 days or so & cut down on the chips and candy by replacing them with fruits and veggies. Good Luck!

since your only thirteen ask your mom if you can see a nutrtionist. That would be the best answer since you are only thirteen and just because you eat right doesnt mean you will loose weight you also need to exercise. i suggest getting a personal trainer or cross training do a series of cardio and strenght training and alternate because your body needs 48 hours to recover after strenght training. hope i helped a little
