The only height that matters is the height and size of your ego even some departments practice ego stretching if your ever pulled over you'll know whether or not the department has a height restriction.
Being a short officer has its advantages... It is useful when trying to fit in with the rest of the pigs.

Some departments have a height restriction. San Francisco was one of them, at least back in 1999. A lot of departments have a height/weight restriction. Some have no restrictions.

I don't know about the height, but you definitely don't need to know how to spell to become a cop. And you also don't need to know proper grammar. And you don't need a college degree to become a cop.
