Great city, i've lived there for four years.
has a night life like no other. has great local food, and a huge variety of western food. Schools are good, both for Highschools and university and i can truely say that the friends/connections you make in Shanghai will stay with you long after your gone.
Give it a try, i'm sure you'll like it.

I have been here 7 years. It is a big crowded city. All kinds of great food and drink. Numerous famous hotels to stay in. Plenty of places to spend your hard earned RMB. Lots of crazy taxi drivers, crazier pedestrians and bicycles. A Starbucks on every corner. As well as lovely ladies offering you a massage (wink wink). It is spring time now. Summer coming quickly. It is fun city. come on over.
