I've been exercising for a month, and I just weigh last week. Then, after seven days (today), I weigh again and I didn't lose a pound! I don't know if I did the right way to weigh last week. And if my sweat-full clothes (a shirt & jogging pants) and the 1.5 litre water I drank affected my weight today. Pls help?

P.S. I've been taking a 1200 calorie diet.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Your right to weigh yourself just once a week, but it must be done first thing in the morning after you go to the toilet, preferably naked! The water and clothes will deffinetly affect it!
Your diet is fine and if your excersizing then you will loose weight.
Some weeks you may not loose though due to muscle gain.

Rather get someone to take your fat percentage. You may have been building muscle and that's heavier. Also look at how your clothes feel now - are they still as tight?
