Cop said tags where expired, proved wrong. Found paraphernalia from no where any way to fight it?

Cops only need a reasonable cause to suspect there is, has, or is going to be an offence committed...I'm assuming you mean 'proved wrong' in a court already? If so, I assume the matter would just be dropped by prosecution - if the matter is going ahead (not that I would understand why?) then it's up to you and your defence to prove on the balance of probabilities that ther tags were not expired at the time....
