I don't know really if everyone in the world is telling the truth. I could see in the TV or newspaper its always gossip or allegations whet-er its true or not the only perception from someones view depends on what you see. Some people say there's always a white lie so in other words truth is not always be the norm but being truthful is better so you can be at peace.

I am not that familiar with religion and spirituality saying or meaning.
But if your saying its always the best to tell the truth. In most cases it is but sometimes lying is the best thing to do.
Like during a job interview if you are asked "Were do you plan to be in 5 years from now" For my age I would say "I plan on going back to school and take a course in etc. "
and if I was 100% truthful I would say something like "I plan on working as little as possible and slacking at an easy low paying job while living at home" the chance of me getting the job drop at least 70%-90%

it is very simple;when you tell the truth you never have to remember what you said......so many times i here my friend say something diff rent then what they had said before to either to myself or in conversation to someone else.if you are one of these people and i am you friend, you should know it sticks out like a sore thumb.I also have a hard time trusting them.they do it so much they have forgot en what was said, and the little white lies go on and on.(people it really does make you look stupid)

It doesn't complicate things.
and besides no one likes being lied to so imagine if everyone just told the truth?! omg there would be so much more trust and less confusion and more dignity and less drama.
Honesty is one of the best traits a person can have.

Because it's the right thing to do.
There is "social lying" as in the "does this dress make me look fat" kind of thing. But in general, truth should be what we strive for.
Hence, I'm an atheist.

Becuase lies do nothing but tear apart relationships, and break hearts and destroy lives. One might be in trouble for something they did but the truth is always the best way.

My Grandma explained it to me she said..
If one tells the truth one doesn't have to remember what lies they told.. Lies lead to more lies to cover up the original lies, thus more to remember.. Telling the truth is just easier and takes far less effort to maintain....
