For some it is and for some it isn't.
Jesus Christ said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."

If you ask from a biblical perspective it is not. True, when Jesus comes back as he promised to do, all his true followers will go to heaven with him, where he has prepared homes for them in which to live (John 14:1-3). But that's not the final settlement. The Book of Revelation tells us that after a thousand years the New Jerusalem (together with the followers of Jesus) will be moved from heaven to planet earth (Rev 21:10, 11.) John also sees the saved on this renewed planet living in happiness forever, because of eating the fruits of the tree of life (Rev 22:1-5.) Isn't this a wonderful perspective?

Faisal: As a christian, I say NO ! No where in the pages can you find the words - "when you die you go to heaven". If we "go to heaven" why then, is Jesus Christ coming back down to the earth to set up a Kingdom for? Remember: "Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the EARTH " ? Throughout the Bible the theme points to a Resurrection from the dead, at the return of Christ . The apostle Paul talks quite openly about this in his letter to the church at Corinth, in Greece, in his day. (see: First Book of Corinthians 15th chapter, verse 52 ). Even, King David of Old Testament fame, lies dead in his grave awaiting for the Return of Jesus Christ -he never went to heaven, either - (see: Book of Acts chapter 2 , verses 29 & 34). Jesus Christ is the only being, who has immortality - not people (see:First Book of Timothy, 6th chapter, verse 16) !

I believe that heaven is not a destination but a place that one tries to achieve. This state of being is heaven or bliss. Not to be associated as a place one arrives at or a final destination after death.

IF the Bible were true, there would be no reason to think humans get to stay in heaven. Just look at how many times the god of that book altered what he had "planned" for us. The Garden of Eden and Jesus are two big ones I can think of.

I don't know if anyone can pinpoint where is heaven. But God said that whoever believe in him will have an everlasting life.

No. Death is. People often sugarcoat life with fairytales of Heaven, Hell and God. Face the reality of things.
Religion is all balls. Just balls.
