When people start valuing you as an individual --- not as part of a group ----- then only will racism be stopped any legislation re::: racism is just a reverse of the racism instead...
EVERYONE is an individual regardless of colour creed whether you are white, blue, black or green and no matter
what you do the doubters will remain --- but, that is the key
to the racism question --- looking at the individual ---------------
BECAUSE THERE are good and bad people everywhere, no
matter what --- stop looking at a persons colour and who they are and what they do and you can respect each person as
an individual instead.....................................................................
SOMEONE asked me awhile ago if POLICE and criminals have a colour --- they may be different colours cultures etc..
but what defines you is who you are and if you know the very
difference between wrong or right ...............................................

Racism has been going on so long I don't think racist would know how to get along with themselves let alone anyone else. I am sure it goes back farther but I know it goes back to the Japanese, Italians, Germans, Mexicans, Indians, and anyone else that is different, just in this past century. I used to get e-mails that had bad jokes or references to deportation in them until the people that were sending them found out how I felt and now they don't send them anymore. I am sick of it too and I let them know it. I wasn't raised that way thank GOD.
I don't see people by their color or their wallet (money) or whatever. For all I know, you are from ??? Who cares? I don't. Thank you. When is the picnic?

When people all act alike and don't create tension with anyone else while displaying traits--innate or modified--that are identifiable.
Our brains are built to identify individuals and traits and to associate behaviors with these identities. Beyond an immediate (approx.) 150 people, we are forced to rely on stereotypes. If there is any consistency between a behavioral trait and a visual or cultural trait, you can get "negative" discrimination based on an inherent tendency to act protectively against the unknown or those associated with a potentially threatening behavior or trait.
As to your assertion that we can not change traits, you are sorely incorrect on a population level. We manipulate ourselves and other people all the time with religion, laws, force, and other social pressures. Conflict between ways of belief and behavior are often "resolved" via force, legal, or economic pressures.
So... the quickest way to resolve this is for those in the minority to simply adopt the culture and beliefs of the majority to resolve tension then reduce the use of "race" as a trait associated with defensive behavior.
Doesn't work?
Adapt to the tension level and defensive behavior.
Oh, and if God actually wanted all this diversity AND peace, he really pulled a ***** on that one...
...considering his religion(s) are behind the greatest portion of the killing!!!

Atheists have no clue as to being good!
Even during 9/11 and other tragedies do they not bulge towards compassion.
But then once **** hits the fan are they paranoid unless they too suffer from brain trauma for the can in the socks brain whipping that someone gave them...

When the Perfect comes. Until the we are too unenlightented to see that God created different colors and features so we wouldn't get bored looking at clones of ourselves.

About the same time criminals are put to death, and all crimes stop.
God also wanted peace. He also wanted no crimes, criminals, and safe streets for children to play in. He also wanted neighbors (and not just community neighbors) to love one another as themselves.
It isn't all about the color of ones skin. It's about crime and criminals of every color.
Ever raise rats or mice? If you haven't the more that they breed and birth (over-populate) - the more likely they'll turn on their own and kill them. Eat them alive to start. That's how it is with humans. Too many, and they turn on each other too.
You mention that - "God wanted diversity that's why he made humans differently in color and looks." True - however diversity also means excepting everyone for who they are (gay, straight, other) as well as whether they believe in religion or not.

When people quit carrying signs around that say "stop racism", Do you think a racist is going to see that sign and then say "hmm, ya know, maybe I shouldn't be racist after all, now that I see someone is carrying a sign that says i shouldn't be racist"

we're all created equally...but we don't all act equally. For the most part it is our actions and statements that determine hatred for or against a group or race, granted that the actions of a few do not represent the whole but if all you see of one group or race is one type of action that you disapprove of, then racism will always continue to persist.

It will stop when people quit teaching children that they are owed. No one owes you anything.
Get the chip off your shoulder and I will start to treat you the way I treat everyone that doesn't act like you do and say the crap that spews out of your mouths.
