Whole tree is a emotional centre.
You can call it as your heart

I am calling it as my heart.

It never eat`ts it`s fruits
Every fruit is for me & you

It witnessed my birth
And it will observe my death

But never talk too much like me
Whatever talking is just wispher

Whatelse you need for the emotion?
For me it is enough.

If the boundaries of the chest can move wide enough apart, then Heart is at once the very centre of the universe and also the point through which the whole of the universe is pouring, moment by moment, from immanence into expression.
Everything is contained in the heart and everything is pouring into existence through the heart and everything already exists.

If you already know this, then it is true. If you don't already know this, then it's a load of old tosh and you should ignore it.

Our heart in the figurative sense is the emotional centre of our being.
As others have said, the other heart is the engine or pump for our body's blood to move throughout our body
In a sense, yes our heart is also our cenre of being, as Jesus said, "Set your heart on things above and not on things of the earth, for where your heart is your treasure will be also."
But really, as for centre of our being, I would say that actually is our spirit. Our brain is only a tool, as is our heart of flesh to help this physical body exist. But our figurative heart, and our spirit continue on... so that the bible is true when it says, "O, death, where is your victory? O, grave, where is your sting!"

You must be British with the spelling of " centre ". Here in the states that word has been transitioned to be spelled as " center " . . . No matter...just of interesting notation for me.

In reply to your question . . .The " emotional center " of that tree . . . the " heart in relation to that tree " . . . My thought is that that " center " or " heart " is not in the tree itself. It's more as a " breath ", the air surrounding that tree...that heart. The tree / heart is encircled, embraced by that breath...swirling it to awaking, to feel, " hear ", the desire to surge out of oneself to " touch " that breath swirling around and about. The " tree "...the " heart " drinks in that breath, draws it within, thus the " center "...the "heart" is nourished and awakened more.

Hearts are functional and keep the blood pumping around our body to enable the mind to work. The mind is the most facinating part of our beings. It is what shapes our mind in terms of our genetic input, experiences of life that makes us unique individuals. The expression heart and soul....is a romantic one....but sounds good nevertheless. The soul those in religios circles would argue is the core of our being.....so lets say mind and soul?
But still it is the mind the human brain, which is the most sophisicated piece of equipment in the world.

One of six spiritual parts of man referred to in the Bible is his HEART (kardia), the seat of his wants, wishes, or desires. It is here that the NUMBER ONE DESIRE of the individual is enthroned; and God knows the heart (Psalm 139: 23;Heb. 4: 12). That is, he knows the NUMBER ONE DESIRE of each individual. It was because man had enthroned evil in his heart that God caused the Flood (Gen. 6: 5). Psalm 14: 1 says the FOOL says in his heart there is no God. Actually he is saying, "I am God." That is why all sin is against God (Psalm 51: 4): God is no longer Number One in the heart. Some forms of an evil heart are a dull heart (Matt. 13: 15), with no clear definition of what is Number One, a heart full of evil thoughts (Matt. 15: 19), an anxious heart (Prov. 12: 25) where THINGS are becoming Number One, and eventually, a heart hardened by sin (Heb. 3 & 4). God knows when our heart is evil and we are admonished to purify our heart (Jas. 4: 8) and love God with all of it (Matt. 22: 37) and center it on the heavenly (Matt. 6: 20-21). We must develop a God-centered heart, an enlightened heart (Eph. 1: 18) where Christ can live (Eph. 3: 17) and peace can rule (Col. 3: 15) as we strive to do the will of God (Eph. 6: 6). Then our heart will not condemn us (1 Jno. 3: 21). A good example of such a heart was Paul, who desired the salvation of Israel (Rom. 10: 1), kept that desire (2 Cor. 4: 1), and relied on the grace of God for his strength (Heb. 13: 9).

Since love is the reason for everything, and we love with our heart, I would say it is the centre of our being and the barometer of our emotional wellbeing

Is it our heart that loves or our total being? The centre of our being is our solar plexus. But I am really glad that I have a good strong heart aren't you?
