i asked my 5 year old to get a book for me to read to him to put him to sleep...he grabbed the bible...what gives??

your dreams and imagnations are spiritual......God deals with us alot in dreams because as you can see in the ansewrs you received already people stop beleive in God. Because they can't accept something , they beleive that you shouldn't either.
Your child wants to know more about God more than what your are telling them......

He (she?) couldn't even begin to read the Bible and understand what it says, and I'm not even talking about spiritual understanding here. He (she?) could just as easily picked up "The History of Medical Science" or "Lady Chatterly's Lover." Nothing gives here...

Good thing, in my opinion. Probably nopt an accident, but a sign. Take it, read some to him, then explain. Might do you some good also.

Maybe God is trying to talk to you through the child. It has happened before. And absolutly it's a good thing. It's always a good thing to read God's word.

I think it is good thing that he will know something from the bible. It has true to life proverbs and lessons for life.
