well enough--i only have 'A' levels--American High School Diploma.

without education, i wouldn't be reading your question, comprehending it, typing a reply, and sending it... wouldn't even know how to function a computer. and can't read the news--so not updated... won't follow along in movies, they'ld be speaking too fast for me to understand... no advancements in technology=no economic growth=no one to understand how things worked=stock market crash=decline in every aspect of life=back to primitive days after the educated are deceased...

haha, maybe i imagine too much... :)

I see education as a personal decision. Many people are rich or are doing fairly well without it and some arent but I dont think people need an education to succeed. Drive and who you know are main factors to having the good life in the USA. Just think about it, most people get their jobs through connections. However, I feel education is like something nobody can take away from you and it's something you can always fall back on incase chasing a dream as a star or other options dont work. For me education is important although getting one isnt easy.

Everything in life is based on education

The importance depends on what one classifies as education. Formal education is important as you learn what other people have worked out and is considered to be right. If you apply for a job or position you can put Certificates in which were made to be important for that particular job or position. Someone who learnt the same without going through formal education doesn't get the Certificate hence doesn't get the job/position. If I want to have a particular post then I have to comply with the education requirements. Many youth are pushed by parents or peers to study beyond the need and end up totally exhausted and mentally ill.

My opinion is that life skills and experience are undervalued in many many cases. Too high value is placed on a certain piece of paper. I prefer to be happy without it.

In the U.S. you have to have a college education to get a good job and to understand life around you. I'd do everything I could to get a higher education. Its one of the keys to having an interesting, enjoyable life.
