Humans believe in god because they want to place their beliefs, questions, and opinons into one all knowing thing. Having someone on your side who is all knowing provides hope, the human need for comfort gives rise to god and god is different for each person.

Christianity. Yes. I'm afraid of the pain that accompanies death, but not the afterlife. I think humans believe in God bc/ of our desire to be a part of something greater than ourselves. People who tend to avoid death are those that don't believe in some other life after it in my opinion. All religions take faith. I think it would be easier for me to convince someone that there was a God based on science and knowledge than no God based on the same facts. It's all too much to be a coincidence. Other than that, I don't try to convince ppl which God is better bc/ they will believe whatever they want just as I believe what I believe.

I think all religious people are very wishful thinking. I do not believe in any gods, and I am afraid of death. I also think that if death were not a factor of life people would be a lot less inclined to believe in gods.

Religions are the opiate of the masses.
god is not real. god is a product of the human imagination.
Afraid of death? Sorta.
I think humans believe in god for a lot of reasons, mostly because they don't want to think.

I believe in Jesus Christ. I'm not afraid of death...not to crazy about the dying process but death I'm OK with because I know what's on the other side. And yes some people won't believe in God until there in their death bed. What a wasted life with the burden of sin.

I believe religions can be a good thing, but, just like anything else they are best enjoyed in moderation! People who devote their entire existence to a single religion scare me. They are more capable of evil than anyone else. I believe that we should all just live to best we know how and take care of ourselves, each other, and the planet. I am indeed afraid of death, because I don't know what it truly means. Everyone is afraid of death in some way, whether they can admit it or not. People are people. We all do what we feel is right to validate our existence.

I believe in God. I am not afraid to die because I almost did and I now know there is a Heaven. It's gonna be great, too. We are commanded not to judge according to the Bible so I try and not do that, but I must say that I love my God with all my heart and I have so much to thank him for. I think some humans believe due to fear, but they shouldn't as God loves us. He's proven it enough in my life and I just can't say it enough.

I think religions are a tricky thing, I think that spirituality is a wonderful thing.
I think that Buddhists have the right idea
I believe in something, it makes me feel better to think that I might be here for a purpose, instead of just from evolution.
I believe in myself.
I'm afraid of not living life to the fullest, and of not finishing what I started.
Yes I do, religion is a comfort blanket.

We believe in something to get by, whether it be God or a dog, we put our love in life to get by.
