Hmmm. I have been to many different kinds of Christian religions. I started out Catholic. I then went to Methodist. I went to a lot of freaky churches with my father. I went to Pentecostal churches. I was married in a Universalist church. I am now Kemetic Orthodoxy and that is the best religion for me. I know my gods are listening to me. I have studied other religions though. I want to be able to help my children decide what religion they want to be when they get old enough to pick one.

why should a Christian have to do any more "self-discovering" if they've found their true spiritual identity from the start? I wouldn't give away my faith in Christ for anything...I've been around the world and talked to athiests, buddhists, hindus...I've talked about the New Age, reincarnation, and a hundred other things, and every conversation turns me back to Christ, the only path I have to follow.

I don't really have a spiritual identity, It took me a few times to really meditate correctly, then I learned a little about myself each session, I still keep learning more and more.

I don't follow a specific group, though Buddhism has helped me learn to meditate and I can agree with most of its beliefs

I bet no one will remember this, I'm really dating myself. I was involved in "est" back in the late 70's and early 80's. Very much secular humanist kind of philosophy. I think I spent about ten years in their seminars, etc. Some of it was very helpful and to this day I remember some of the things I learned. But I'm sure glad I was taken back to church and became born again.

Lots of different paths out there....but I'm relieved I'm where I am now.

For myself it was all one path leading back to myself, although at times it did not seem this way. ~ : )

All we have is belief and faith. Show me one shred of proof that any belief is true.
