Read first?

Do you read the answers first, before answering, or do you just know what you want to say and say it?

I usually don't even read the answers until after I've put my two cents in. The only time I do something different is if it is a particularly controversial question and I want to see whether or not I'm even going to bother answering.

Both. Depends on how fresh the question is. If it is old and has 20 answers I read first, maybe I don't have to answer if someone else has.

I do read the whole question when I am about to answer.

I also read the whole answer when I ask a question.

But from the answers that I get when I ask questions..........people do not really read my WHOLE question and it gets me mad sometimes when they make certain observations about me and bash me for being an atheist when I believe in God.

Depends. I like to try to answer first, but I also like to read any thoughtful answers from other people.

I read all answers and then, if someone hasn't already given my answer or if another has already answered it but I can express it better then I answer.

If it's a fresh question, I just answer. If it's been on for a while, I check to see if it's already got what I would answer. If so, I skip it.

I read first, I spend a lot of time on real message boards and they'll nail you if you don't pay attention.

I read the questions and answer the intelligent ones with intelligent thought and the stupid ones with sarcasm.
