No. Not at all. Even now when abortion is legal, there are cases of parents being upset and giving their daughters forced abortions. It's not right for the daughter to suffer because her parents want her to get an abortion but she cannot get one done in a proper way.
I think abortion done so casually is a sad thing and I would never do it myself. However, it's a big decision to bring a child into the world and adoption does not always garuntee a family or even a good life.
Aslo, just wanted to add. That even the pill + condom use is not 100%! There are pill babies all the time. So even if you are cautious, things can still happen. Abortion as an only form of birth control is unacceptable, but be aware that pregnancies can happen even when you are super careful.

Up to and including 12 weeks abortion should be legal in all cases.
The recent Supreme Court ruling about partial birth abortions was misleading. These are abortions occurring at 20+ weeks but they accounted for less than 1% of all abortions and were all performed where the health of the woman was at risk.

As a form of birth control. That would imply multiple abortions. The vast majority of women who have to make the very tough decision only make it once.
We'd just have more saying they were raped to get an abortion. Are we going to set up a judge and jury to decide if a woman is telling the truth? Even worse, we'd have more under the table abortions peformed by untrained people, causing any possibly complications with infections, even death.

No. the main problem is that making "abortion" (really just the medical procedure) illegal is that you raise the number of illegal abortions by a ton. There are plenty of options for "birth control", most not pretty.

I think that better sex ed and teaching (by parents and schools) about appropriate birth control methods is a better route than making it illegal. Everyone should have the right to decide what happens to their own body. That's just the way it is.

First off, abortion is not a good form of birth control. The pill and condoms are much easier.
Second, it's not my place or anyone else's place to tell someone else what to do and not do with their body. Abortion is the decision of the two partners, and no one else's.

Well, this is a difficult question and I've debated it many times.
The fact that so many women attempted to use coat hangers and other methods (like purposefully hitting themselves in the abdomen with blunt objects) to self-abort babies makes me leery about a ban.
I think it's better to encourage men and women to use birth control and to encourage women to give their babies up for adoption.

Im both pro life and pro choice. Pro life because I believe humans should have the righ to their own life, and pro choice because abortion doesent concern me so I shouldent care. In other words, I would never have an abortion, but I cant stop people from doing what they want to do.

Although I don't agree with it as being used as a form of birth control, and personally I would never do it...
I think it should be our decision...not the governments...whether we want to be pregnant or not

even though I am not an Atheist I have to agree with ZER0 C00L.
I would not support a law that bars general abortion for a 2 month old fetus.
