One thing you could try doing is making sure this is not a read-only file. You can do this by RIGHT clicking on the folder, or specific file you want to delete, and there should be some boxes on the lower half of this menu saying "Read-Only," "Hidden," and "Archive." Try seeing if the Read-Only file is checked. If it is Uncheck it and see if you can delete it. I have included the links of some images to help you with these steps. This may NOT solve your problem. If it does not solve your problem, and you still can not fix it, you can contact me on Yahoo! Messenger at SirAntiHero and I will see what I can do to help you, and if you don't have Yahoo! Messenger, you can email me at timmysgotagun@gmail.com and we can try solving this things as quickly as possible. There are other methods to fixing this problem, but, some of these methods would require more instruction, and more information for me to figure out what's going on with that file. If all else fails, there is one last resort you could try. It is called Formatting the disk, and that erases and cleans the ENTIRE disk. So, if you do want to try to do this, you should make sure you have everything that you need backed up to your main hard drive, or onto another storage device. In order to format the disk, you will need to RIGHT click the disk that you want to format, and click the "Format..." selection. If you need further assistance, consult me on Yahoo! Messenger, or via email.

that happened to me too, if its a folder select alot of the random files and delete them, do that until the files isnt very big and then delete the folder if that still doesnt work then try to defragment it you can find disk defragmenter at start>all programs>accesories>system tools>disk defragmenter(disk defragmenter takes a really long time, no matter how big/small the drive is). but if its a progam with files inside, i have no idea. or you might format it, but formatting erases EVERYTHING though.

changing your motherboard won't delete any records. As for reinstalling domicile windows XP, this relies upon on the alternative. Are you changing the motherboard with a reproduction of the unique variety (i.e. changing a defective one with the comparable variety)? subsequently, you will no longer would desire to reinstall the working equipment. while you're changing with a distinctive motherboard, then particular you will would desire to reinstall the working equipment to get the HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) astounding configured. notice: you're waiting to flee with a matching motherboard with out reinstalling the working equipment. that's somewhat volatile and can require some technical understand-how on your section considering that some factors won't artwork and could require resolving driving force matters. comparable boards that fairly purely selection for video, audio, and community factors would desire to be superb, yet whilst significant integrated factors (stress controllers, bridges, CPU, and so on...) do no longer adventure, plan on an entire reinstall of the working equipment.
