I agree with a couple of people here, about thinking about where you found her, etc, and asking her (i.e. looking into her eyes... although dogs see this as a challenge, so careful how you do the eye contact thing).
I'd just add that it's best to give her a positive name. I named a dog "trouble" one time, and that poor lil puppy got into more trouble... and ended up having to be humanely euthanized by the age of 6 months. I named a dog "Puddles" when I was a kid, and he made puddles alright... on people's legs when he was mad at them, or jealous. Animals, and people too, often tend to live up to their names.
I'm partial to the name "Molly", but that's because I had a wonderful dalmation by that name. ~smiles~
Best of success to you, Lili

Think about where she first ran into you, how she reacted to you, where you found her. Was she tired? Muddy? Full of energy? Did she seem grateful? All of this can help you find a name for her. Did you find her in snow? Was it raining? Is she graceful when she runs about? Patch, Grace, Loverly,Raven,Cleo( short for Cleopatra), or Clea, Jasmine, Bituminous ( a kind of coal), Gloria. Ebony. Just some off the top of my head.

Look into her eyes, think about a name, think about her (the dog) and your plans for her. Feel it, and the name will come.
P.S. Every dog that I've known named Lucky was proned to accidents. Go figure.
