It sounds like you are feeding her foods that will make her rather gassy. Cut back on the veggies and keep her on her dog kible. It's really the only thing that she should be eating. Good Luck

My 7 year old is like this, and is going through a big growth spurt at the moment... I give her a small snack around 11, like an apple, 1/2 of a yogurt, a cheese stick, pack of fruit snacks, etc. I do not allow her to eat a lot, as i don't want her to become overweight.... and according to standards she already is... she is 4ft10 and weighs 72lbs. She is a little big for her age, in all ways. I just make shure what i feed her is healthy, and make shure that she gets enough exercise throughout the day. As long as you do all these things your child should be fine. I will tell you that if this is an excessive problem and you can't do any thing to help it, she proabally has depression. It can cause you to eat like this at an early age. Do not give in to her and get her some help to solve the problem rather than the symptom if you think this is what is going on. Yes children that age can get depression.

Get rid of the veggies and table scraps, put her on a quality diet (Pedigree is pretty bad). Some brands to take a look at-Innova Evo, California Natural, Solid Gold, Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover, maybe even Wellness or Eagle Pack. Don't even bother with Iams, ProPlan, Science Diet-they are no good either. If you can buy it in Walmart or the grocery store, it's no good! Broccoli is toxic to dogs, nothing visible right away but small amounts all the time they build up the toxicity-can cause liver/kidney damage and such. If you want, keep a bag of carrots and give her those-they are good for her. You can add green beans and stuff to the food if it makes you feel good, but it's not necessary. =) You can also add canned un-spiced pumpkin to help regulate her.

No offense, but the others are right. Pedigree is complete crap. You can't even pronounce half the ingredients on the list. I also recommend the food brands that others have stated (Solid Gold, Innova EVO, Nature's Variety, Wellness, Canidae, Fromms, Ziwi Peak, and more). If you want a truly healthy pet. I recommend a raw diet, which consists of all raw meat, bones, and organs (ALL raw). If you want more info, don't hesitate to e-mail me.
For the gas problem, try feeding her some plain, NON-FAT yogurt, and definitely cut back on the veggies. Dogs are CARNIVORES, not OMNIVORES. They need meat, not vegetables.
Good luck!

Might be the cabbage! Might be the blue cheese dressing, but more than likely it's the crappy Pedigree dogfood.. It's a corn based food, and tends to make dogs gasy.. No wonder she eats anything you give her, she isn't getting any nutrition from the Pedigree.
Change her to a quality dogfood and she'll likely get rid of the gas problem.. Oh yeah and ditch the cabbage, it's not helping matters at all.
Forget Iams, Beneful, All Purina, Eukanuba, Kibbles n Bits, Ol Roy, Pedigree, Science Diet etc.. They are all garbage foods that are preserved with cancer causing BHA/BHT or ethoxyquin, or cancer causing dyes, or use a Synthetic Vitamin K which makes the body not be able to normally use K from other sources. Horrible foods..
Good Quality dogfood, might seem like it costs more but they actually eat far less and get their nutrition easier from the quality foods.

Pedigree is one of the nastiest dog foods you can give your dog. Stop shopping at the grocery store and get a good well balanced food like Innova, Canidae, or Solid Gold. And stop feeding table scraps. Be consistant in your routine and she will stop having gas. Do you continue to eat things that make you sick?

Many of the vegetables you mention are gas producers, so don't worry. Gas is natural.
If it is causing a problem in your house, then serve her these foods early in the day, and meat at night. Dogs have a short digestive tract, so gaseous food fed earlier in the day will be out of the system by the time you get home.

First, Don't feed her table food. Secondly, Buy her a higher quality dog food. Cheaper dog foods are just that, cheap. They are filled with artifical colors, fillers, and preservatives...all of which can cause digestive upset. If she still has a problem, see your vet. They have pills that rid a dog of gas, one of which contains the bacteria found in yogurt. Good Luck.

Be very careful of table scraps you feed your dog, too much people food is not good for your dog, I learned that lesson the hard and expensive way. Also, find dog food that does not contain lamb. My lab started getting gassy and would actually drive us out of the room, once we put him on food with no lamb, it stopped right away.
