I have a project for my English class, I have to make an itinerary for a virtual vacation to San Deigo California.

The problem is, I have no idea how to make an itinerary... at all. Can someone show me an exact example of an itinerary, or tell me what I need to do, exactly... don't be confusing please!

I have all the information, like the activities and stuff

The date we would leave is June 14th and we would return June 21st. We would take a flight at 9am to Lindbergh Field in San Deigo California, Stay at Omni San Degio Hotel and the package would include a rental car for transportation. This would all add up to 3,028.97.

The activities for the week would include:

Hiking the summit of Napa's Mount St Helena (June 15th)

Visiting Monteret Bay Aquarium (June 16th)

Go boating in the Sacramento River Delta (June 17th)

Go waterfall watching in Yosemite National Park (June 18th)

Shopping at Fashion Valley in San Deigo (June 19th)

More Info coming.

How do I make this into an itinerary... I'm soo confused and this counts as a huge part of my grade!

Also do you think this information is enough? Or should I add where we will eat.

Another question, I have to include a packing list, can someone give me any ideas of what would be in a packing list?

Put

Itinerary

vacation to San Diego California

at the top of this list and that's all there is to it! You are just putting dates and times to the activities. However, for better marks you could put more details.

Put the date you leave. Then the time you have to be at the airport on the next line, then 9am Flight to San Diego, then the arrival time on the next line, the next line could be car pick up and details, then and estimate times for hotel arrival.

If this is for a school group or tour group you can put in meal times, and free time, etc.

Like:

day 2 June 15th

7:00AM - Breakfast
8:30AM - Leave hotel for Mount St Helena
9:30AM Hike Mount St Helena (Boxed Lunch during hike)
3:00PM Travel back to hotel
4:00PM Free Time
6:00PM Dinner

Day 3 June 16th

You really have your info together. List the dates and times first, then the activity. I'm sure you will do very well with this.
