Yes we have a choice to choose between right and wrong. Look at it this way, there are different types of laws. There's Man's Law and God's Law. In Man's law 70mph is the legal speed limit on the highway. You have the free will to obey that law or say 'SCREW IT!' and go 120mph. Then you get caught ticketed and thrown into jail because the consequences of that law states that's what should happen. You had your free will until you broke the law and got thrown into jail. God's Law works the same way just usually on a bit higher level than Man's Law, but the principles are the same. Many of Man's Laws are based off of God's Laws. So you break the law, you go to jail/hell.

We go to hell because of our free will only if there is no other choice, and guess what, after the fall of Adam, we did not have the capability to seek God out at all. No one merits Heaven.
Therefore it takes a loving God to get us marching in the other direction, and he has the power and the prerogative to predestine his own from before the foundations of the world. Also remember that God is not sad about the destruction of a condemned-already mankind. He is glorified either way in his election and reprobation.

What does it mean to have free will?
You can choose and decide on what ever you are willing to do in life. You can choose to indulge in illegal sinful activities or lawful good deeds. What ever you do in life it will be accounted for on the day of judgment.
You choose where you go by the things you do.
There is only one God and he sent many messengers that preached What God commands on us Mankind. Indulge in things that will get you into Paradise in the next life.
Hell has seven levels. It is said that hell is 7 times hotter than the fire here on earth. You don't wanna go there. One thing about this life is that you must die..... but live your life according to how God wants it to be.

Hell is like drugs. once you get addicted you loose your skill % to bypass with out them you will desire to have extra. subsequently the medicine signify the sins that God tells us to avert. Sin has plenty an identical consequence on your spirit that drugs have on your innovations and physique. So particular to get to heaven there are quite some issues you may no longer do notwithstanding they're the equivalent of telling you no longer do do something that's stupid existence threatening like grabbing a downed ability line or hopping in a trash compacter and having your friends turn it on. by using following the commandments notwithstanding you avert those pitfalls and can proceed on on your existence unhindered by using that which might drag you down into misery. So no in hell you haven't any longer have been given loose will, by using the time you get there you've got given it away in commerce for what? A non everlasting thrill? the technique you bypass by using to get to heaven could have the top results of removing your desire to try this that's opposite to Gods will leaving you with you company yet a imparting you with a disposition to avert that that's risky to you.

John 1
10He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
[verses taken from kjv]
There is hell and heaven.U have a choice where u want to spent. And its free will to choose from.Yes going to hell isnt a free choice and when u have JESUS as your saviour you dont need to go there.
John 3:16[kjv] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
so when we believe in JESUS we have eternal life.JESUS lived a sinless life and gave up his life as a sacrifice so we can be sin free. Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with his blood.
With a simple prayer like above u can be saved.JESUS loves u and wants u to be saved.

Well it really is, like its not so much going to Hell that we're choosing, its whether to love God and follow Him, or to follow the enemy. Both choices are made out of our free-will, both choices (like all things in life) have consequences. It just happens that when you follow Jesus you have eternal life and happiness, however when you follow Satan, or Lucifer, you end up with eternal damnation, and you burn up and die. Its really a simple decision if you think about it, but the Devils done a good job of blurring it so much it seems impossible to make. Now the question is, who's side do you choose?

The free will is in choosing your actions. You don't get to decide the punishment for doing bad. What you get to do is choose not to sin which means you wouldn't be going to hell. That is your free will at work.

Christians will respond that it's your 'free will' and 'choice' to commit unrepentant sin and to reject God, but the fact is that ANY promise of eternal life or threat of hell pretty much destroys all notions of 'free will'. Promises and threats take away all free will and replace it with fear and self-interest.

great question
and depending on who you ask, is the quality of answer
the religious freaks, will tell you to just go to church, read the bible, obey god's word, take your vitamins, and you'll go to 'heaven',yet noone knows where this utopia land is
I was once a religious freak, and it took away my free will, as I became a slave to the man-made dogmas and creeds
now I do what I can to live my purpose, make a difference in society, and those who don't like it, don't let the door hit you in the butt on the way out
