How about Yeti or Sasquatch after the Abominable Snowman
Or since the Pyrenees are used as guardian dogs how about:
Keeper
Angel
Skipper
Belvedere
Scout
Then there's always Casper or Ghost

Pappa, Nanuk, Gabe (like a gaurdian angel), Patton (as in the General) Eli, Malichia....Pyrense are great gentle giants, don't want too tough of a name but one that is strong and kind with confindence and pride.

Well my current dog was a rescue and his name is Shep. Not many dogs are named that and I think it's s really cute name. I love puppies! Do you know what kind of breed the dog is mixed of?

I've always wanted to get a dog and give it a regular, human name like Dave or Frank. I just think that would be really funny.

If you would accept a foreign name for your dog, name him
Ka-Gogi (Kay-Go-Gi)
If you're interested, E-Mail me and I will translate for you.
But, if you would like a clue, it's something that some of the older Korean people eat for health-related reasons.

Try a character in your favorite book. I named my dog "Ellen Cherry" after a character in a Tom Robbins book. We call her "Ellie."

My friend named her dog by giving him her maiden name - Bromley. Our family dog was named after the city he was born in - Dexter. You could give your dog the name of your favorite college mascot also.
