What is an easy way to get rid of dark armpits? I love wearing tubetops and sleeveless shirts but my dark armpit colors sometimes prevents me from doing that. Is their a home remedy or an over the counter lotion I can use? My prom is this Friday, and my dress is in form of a tubetop. For that night I'll just cover it with makeup I guess since I don't think anything will take the darkness off overnight. HELP!

So all this stuff you guys are telling me about the lemon juice and honey, should I just run it in and rinse or leave it there for a while to settle in?

Bleach the area on your prom night and put makeup to hide the darkness. You try this home remeady everyday. Take a ripe banana. Cut half and use. other half store in fridge to use next day. Mix mashed banana with 1 spoon honey , 2 spoons lemon juice and apply on the arm pits. Leave on for 30 minutes and wash off with cool water. And bleach once a month. You will really get good result.

The darkness in your armpits is the hair you've shaved off. Are your hairs really dark? Sometimes I have the shade, but all you have to do is wax and there will be absolutely nothing there and you'll be able to wear tube tops for weeks. Take an advil before you wax.

I recomend lotion. It works for me but not all people. Try using Jergens Touch of sun lotion, but everywhere including the pits. Hope i help.
