Not at all. Most of the atheists I know are rather optimistic and enjoy life thoroughly.

It tried to put it in the gay section, because Christians think homosexuality is against the "nature", and Atheists think homosexuality is "natural".
That's why it ended in the gay section. Common words in the christian/atheist debate.

no. i'm cynical. but i was like that before i was an atheist. i know lots of cynical non-atheists and lots of non-cynical atheists.
anywho, i guess YA thinks gays and lesbians are cynical? weird.

We're people... We're many hundreds of millions of people...
I doubt we're any more cynical than any other huge swath of humanity and the ones I know are less cynical than most.
Might you have meant "skeptical"? ... Please provide some examples of "cynical atheists." ... You sound rather biased against us, to say the least... *That's* cynical. ... Why is that?
