Way before I studied Buddhism the duality of nature fascinated me. Through my studies in science and art I sort of inherently knew that the mind could only follow any deep subject back to its dual nature but any *inherent* nature was non-dualistic.
Heaven and Hell (good and evil) are the same. At some point they have no meaning, but this depends on the persons mind. For some, these concepts are very important at the beginning so they can ultimately experience why they do not exist.
I doubt that helped much ;-)

I believe in 1 Cor. 15: 40-42 as well as John 14:2. Where heaven will have different degrees of glory (cor. 15:41) 41 "[There is] one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for [one] star differeth from [another] star in glory. " Depending on how we live our lives on this earth, and what commitments we make to God on this earth life it will dtermine what degree of glory we can achieve in heaven. But even after we die will have a chance to set things right for the bad things that we did or the good things that we didn't do and revieve the celestial glory which is like the sun. There are too many grey areas for there just to be heaven and hell. Then where is line crossed? Should people that strive to live their lives well and follow all of the Lords commandments have the same heaven as those who didn't really care, but didn't kill anyone? If so, than what's the point of even following His teachings if we will all be rewarded the same way?

Yes, it is too simplistic.
Everyone is a composite of good and evil parts. But "no unclean thing can enter the Kingdom of Heaven", so we are all unworthy to go back to Heaven. Jesus Christ paid the price for our sins, so that if we accept Him and reject our sins, He can make us clean and worthy to go to Heaven.
However there are lots of people who have lived good lives, devoted to doing the best they know how, but they have not accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior for many various reasons, including never having the chance. The over simplistic view of them is that they are condemned to Hell.
That doctrine is false. Every good act is rewarded, just as every evil deed will not go unpunished.
Jesus went to preach to the spirits in prison right after He died, and He authorized others to do the same. Everyone will get a chance to accept or reject Jesus Christ, whether in this life or the next.

Well, Catholics have something between the two extremes. We call it purgatory.
After death we must all come into the presence of Christ our judge, 'so that each one may receive good or evil, according to what he has done." (2 Corinthians 5,10)
Those who die without perfect love of God will be purified in love in purgatory. We know that there is a purgatory because those who imperfectly love God when they die do not deserve Hell nor are they worthy enough for heaven; we also know from the Church's constant teaching about the value of prayers for those in purgatory.
Those who die in hatred of God will be judged worthy of the eternal punishment of hell.
Peace and every blessing!

The concept of heaven is not too vague or simplistic. It's perfect...it's so simple because accepting Christ isn't supposed to be a long complicated process we can earn our way into. None of us deserves heaven because we all do wrong and God's righteousness can have nothing to do with sin because sin is the absence of right...the absence of God. It comes down to, do you accept Jesus as your Savior or don't you. I'm the first to admit, it sounds harsh, but we are so blessed that we have the choice in the first place! i think it's our own pride and selfishness that keeps us from wanting to accept heaven or hell and the absence of grey areas. God made us and so life is not for us to judge...he doesn't want to send any one of the people he loves to Hell...but God's ways are perfect and above ours and by the grace of God heaven is just a prayer away.

Way too. So the in between is earth. For very bad karma(reaction to our actions) one goes to hell (no one goes eternally, that was a man made idea to control the citizens. Heaven is where souls go for very good Karma and earth is for a combination of both. That is the material creation. Then there is the eternal Spiritual kingdom When one fully surrenders to God and only wants to serve Him in love and devotion they take up the process of Devotional service here and make their consciousness God or Krishna Conscious and at the time of death think of Him only and go Home forever where their is no more repeated birth, death, old age or disease.(many Christians get the materiel heaven and spiral heaven confused.) If someone doesn't make any spiritual advancement then they go back to animal body. Animals eat sleep mate and defend as do humans, but we have the intelligence to question our existence and God but if we misuse it back to animal or lower species of life. Then again another life come to human species again. for all details read Bhagavad Gita As it is By Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada- go to harekrishnatemple.com reveals all one wants to know about everything.

Judaism is a spin-off of the Quran? ARE YOU SERIOUS? Judaism is the very first Abrahamic religion! 2000 years later came Christianity, and 600 years after that came Islam. Lrn2history

I believe that the concepts of Heaven and Hell are an overly simplistic view of the nature of eternal rewards.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ... revealed again from God to humans. We believe that there are "degrees of glory" that we humans will inherit, based on our actions in this life, as well as our choices after we die (ie in the spirit world).
Reason confirms God's revelations: It only makes sense that people will be justly rewarded and or punished according to their actions and the thoughts and intents of their hearts.

Not at all. Everyone deserves Hell. No one deserves Heaven, but God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son.
Jesus paid for our sins by dying in our place. When we turn from our sins and accept Him as our Lord and Savior, then God gives us the Holy Spirit, God Himself. The Holy Spirit saves us. It is God's righteousness that saves us and He gives it to us when we allow the Holy Spirit to sanctify us.

Everyone who has JESUS has heaven. Its not what you are its whether you have JESUS or not that decides between heaven and hell.
John 3:16[kjv] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
so when we believe in JESUS we have eternal life.JESUS lived a sinless life and gave up his life as a sacrifice so we can be sin free. Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with his blood.
With a simple prayer like above u can be saved.JESUS loves u and wants u to be saved.
