If you have Microsoft Office 2003 version or below you will need a special conversion program. Most are not free. Below are links to conversion programs.

You can buy a PDF program, the leader is probably Adobe Acrobat.

A good free program is CutePDF. It installs as a printer, so all you need to do is print to it. www.cutepdf.com

You can't.

However, if you download "OpenOffice", you can easily do it from that. And it's totally free, and fully compatible with Microsoft Word and Excel files.
