God is "God"
Satan is a fallen angel so yes Satan would be in the same spectrum as Gabriel and Michael.
Remember these two are arch angels (leaders)
The Bible says Satan led 1/3 of the Angels against God.
Gabriel = 1/3
Michael = 1/3
Satan = 1/3

God and Satan are NOT on equal sides of the spectrum. God is God all by Himself, Satan is a created being.

Just for argument sake only. Left hand Lucifer- GOD -Right hand Jesus. Lucifer felt high in his position and began to crave praise and a following and thought he could step outside of God and be an equal and deserving of praise and followers. God being all knowing saw this and cleaned house. Jesus is now only spoke of as "at God's right side" or hand. Remember most people are right handed and considering Jesus at the right hand makes Jesus even more powerful than the odd left hand. Lucifer was cast out of heaven with his fallen followers and became known as Satan.
SO Lucifer never was equal in heaven with either but may have been above Gabriel or equal to Gabriel.So after Satan was cast out of heaven Satan was still not equal to the dark side of the "pendulum swing" of good verses evil. Jesus even commanded Satan when Satan entered Judas at the last supper to go do what you are going to do. Jesus commanded and gave himself up and Satan could not do unless permitted by Jesus.

Certain denominations sure make it seem like they are equals..... but IMHO this can not ever be. IMB, G-d created everything which includes angels. He didn't create them to have free will... without free will an angel can only do G-d's will. Therefore the devil/satan couldn't do anything that G-d didn't will him to do... that being said, I don't think satan he 'evil'... I think he is there to test our integrity. The best example I can think of at this late hour is Mr Slugworth's character from Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. Slugworth tried to get Charlie to sell him the everlasting gobstopper to put Wonka out of business... Charlie, even when he found out he wasn't going to get his prize, didn't lower his morals and ethics... then we find out that Slugworth worked for Wonka the whole time. That's pretty much the way I see the "job" of satan as.

No, Satan is not the opposite of God on the spectrum. Satan is actually a fallen Angel of God.

Satan is still subject to God's authority, as revealed in the first chapter of Job.
Among the angels, Gabriel, Michael and Lucifer were on equal footing before Lucifer rebelled and was cast out of heaven.

In Christianity, God is omnipotent and has no equal. Satan was supposed to be a very powerful angel. In Ezekiel, he is described as an Anointed Cherub. He is not as high stationed as an Archangel such as Michael. Gabriel was simply a messenger.

God is above satan yet once satan wanted to take over God's place in being superior. God bannished him to hell and now, he rules over his demons. he is opposite of God he has more rulling power. Satan rules the world yet God rules our souls, our hearts and our minds. Satan can only hurt us if GOD GIVES HIM PERMISSION. So, God technically has more power
