Duran would have took one look at the reversed sombrero and Mayweather would have never made it into the ring, Roberto would and KOed, both Floyd's, Roger and Fifty just for the insult.
In a boxing match, Roberto would have had to run Floyd down, and given 15 rounds, he might have done it. If Floyd is standing at the end of 15 he has a chance at a decision, but he would be pissing blood for a week after the fight either way, and he sure wouldn't be pretty anymore.
Duran by KO in the 15th ala Julio Cesar Chavez/Meldrick Taylor.

I hate Mayweather and think he is very overrated (excellent defensive fighter with great handspeed but limited power) but he wins a boring decision over a pissed off Duran.
He would be too quick for Manos de Piedra to catch up to.
As AWESOME as Duran's power was in his prime, Mayweather is no horse standing still (The Duran Myth) and certainly would not engage Duran and frustrate him all night.
It would be similar to JCChavez-Meldrick Taylor early rounds but without the drama and the boxer would win out, IMO.
Mayweather took De La Hoya's punches very well and he fights at 154+ and hits very hard.
Mayweather by decision in a snoozefest.
I do think Winky Wright would beat Mayweather. But Floyd thinks that too that's why he won't fight him.

If it goes the full 15 Duran wins no question but i see alot of similarities between Mayweather and Sugar Ray Lenard so given that i'd haveto pick Mayweather in ten

Duran would win by KO late in the fight. Unlike De La Hoya, Duran had the killer instinct. Eventually Duran would have been able to land his power shots.

mayweather round 13. of course you know mayweather spars about twenty rounds. Duran would quit just like he quited against Lenard. Duran would have to chase him 15 rounds no way he could keep up

a million) If Cotto ought to push Floyd around, think of what the stalking hunter that cut back down Thomas Hearns in '80 one might do. Floyd is the best counter puncher i've got ever seen yet what happens while he faces an opponent whose palms are merely as rapid, footwork is greater useful and has equivalent ring-smarts. the entire tucking the chin in the back of the shoulder and laying against the ropes would not artwork with Ray: there'd be too many punches coming too right now. 2) No, in spite of the undeniable fact that that's the toughest portion of the human physique, so not stated and the hitter ought to be greater broken than the hittee. 3) protection for Floyd and Offense for Ray. in the event that they have been the two struggling with immediately, Floyd might never elect to combat Ray. never. Floyd vets his combatants for minimum probability and optimal earnings. That on my own says alot. Ray - a extremely clever predator - may be totally conscious that Floyd would not elect to particularly be there and can for this reason make all of it as uncomfortable as a possibility for Floyd. it ought to all come right down to a psychological ingredient. particular, later-lifestyles Ray chosen his combatants besides however the greater youthful Ray fought every physique, everywhere. Floyd hasn't achieved that.

duran was the ultimate lightweight warrior, he slipped a notch at welterweight, he would have beaten mayweather at lightweight but at welterweight it would be too close to call.
