Believe it or not: Burgundy. But that's a pretty strong statement.

I'd say the more acceptable colors would be soft, pale yellow, violet, and white.

If it's for a girl's room try using pastels: yellow, pink, green, blue and violet all together so it becomes a pastel theme with lavender as the primary color.

Silver goes really well with lavender. That's one of my favorite color combos. White and black go with anything of course. White and lavendar for a room is a lovely mix and looks very fresh. If you're looking for a more adventurous color, try a light blue. That goes decently well.

drak dark brown or navy blue or silver these three colors go very well with lavender.. it all depends on what are you choosing the colors for. for example for a baby room pastel yellow or lime green would look nice with lavender.

take a sample of the paint on a similar surface that is to be painted to any paint store and compare your sample to their paint cards - you can then decide which combo appeals to your tastes the most. Or check out your local bookstore's home decorating section, they will most likely have a book outlining which colours go well together. Professionals use a colour wheel which says the proper accent for purple is yellow, but I personally find the two together unappealing. It is your room, I say to heck with the experts - go with what you like. Best of luck.

Just about any Pastel color. My personally a favorite is purple and green together. Blue also works well too (just about any shade). Darker purples, and pinks. Most yellows. I'd stay away from reds and oranges with such a light purple.

try pale yellow or neutral yellow or any soft shades of yellow will also do. lavander is a hue of violet. yellow on the color wheel is the opposite of violet which means, yellow complements violet the best.
