I had to clear that question up. I flirt because I like to make people laugh and when I'm flirting with girls they giggle and blush, I like that! I flirt with about 6 different girls but I won't date them(don't say tell'em that takes the joy out of it). I'm not a "playa" because I'm not leading them on, is it wrong?

I flirt with girls I wouldn't date all the time. It's good for the self-esteem to get a positive reaction out of them. They probably have no intention of dating you either, but flirting and reciprocating makes people feel attractive, and sometimes that's all people need.

Ask yourself if you would want to be treated this way. What if some girl that you liked or thought was cute flirted with you, gave you her number and then acted really mean to you. If you don't really like these girls and would never go out with them, then there's no harm in being friendly, but cut the flirting out, you can feel good by being nice and respectful and believe me in the long run you'll be better off...

The way I see (and practice) it is that there are two types of flirting: mutual, and friendly. Mutual flirting is when you both go at it, in large or small crowds, basically gettign as much attention from each other as possible. Friendly, however, is just doing it to, as you said, make them laugh. Just don't get too intimate, but if you're like that with a lot of girls, there shouldn't be too much trouble because they should understand.

If you're asking this question, maybe you think it is wrong and you're looking for justification to clear your conscience. I'm a flirt, but I don't take it far enough to leading one to believe they have a shot. I'm a sports girl anyway, so I have a lot of guy acquaintences, only natural to joke and flirt I guess.

Well, yes and no. It's wrong if they think you're actually interested. But if you're just flirting to flirt because it's fun, and you both know nothing's going to happen then it's fine. I flirt with guys I'd never date, but I make sure they understand I'm not really interested.

no. flirting is fun and silly. nothing has to come out of it. but just watch yourself you can break a lot of hearts that way. and i know this because they all come on to yahoo answers and posts things like " he flirts with me all the time, does he like me?" and what not, so just make sure its only friend flirting.

it all depends on the degree or to the extent that you are flirting with them. don't give them false hope but it's ok to talk and make them smile just don't go overboard. why is it that you won't date them? that might be a contributing factor as to why you are questioning if it is wrong.
