Merrick Bank credit card... a reputable company?

I'm looking to rebuild credit. I got an offer from Merrick Bank for a VISA card. Are they reputable? What kind of experiences have you had with them?

I haven't had any problems with them.
They always post my payments immediately and I get regular credit limit increases from them without having to ask.

They can be either a prime or a subprime lender.

Prime - good limits, low interest, no annual fees
Subprime - low limits, high interest, annual fees. (if you get this type, after a year of good history with them, you can request the annual fee be waived or reduced and the interest rate be reduced)

I got a Hooters card that is backed by them, basically for the laugh factor. But it's turned out to be a pretty decent card
