Does he hate followers of Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Pagans, Wiccans, etc?
Is it all the same devil, fighting against the variety of religions in the world, all of the different Gods? Or, does each religion have their own devil out to subvert his own personal God/Enemy & his followers - who doesn't really care what the other Gods' followers are doing, as long as they aren't following the God who he hates?
There are all kinds of people who say that their God is the one true God. Is there only one true devil, then?

One True God and One True Devil. The Devil just uses the false gods to keep people from finding the true God. That way he still causes them to go to hell, if they die without ever finding the true God. What the devil doesn't want people to know is that they can be saved through Jesus Christ. That is the only way. All other religions are false. Tricks of the devil.

No the devil does not have to work for souls,we are all sinners by nature and seperated from god the devil already has the souls because we chose to rebel against God. the ONLY way to avoid hell is to accept the free gift of God that he paid for with his own precious blood salvation by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ

There is only one true devil with a lot of demons to help him do his work. His work is the destruction of the one true God, and whoever follows Him.
The devil wants to be the greatest power over all people. He wants to replace God in the universe, and the only way he thinks he can do this is to distract those committed to the one true God.
The devil loves all of those who does not believe in the one true God. He convinces them that they can do anything they want without impunity.

I believe that all religions have a connection: that is they all believe in supreme being, whether it is God, Buda, Alla etc. I believe it is the same being. Also I believe that the devil is also universal in all religions. It is the Christian's Satan,the Muslim's Iblis, and the Buddhist's Mara. So in a nut shell there is a devil for ALL Religions. Not just for Christians

The devil hates anything and anyone who is good. He will work on followers of a variety of faith, since all faiths at least try to teach people to be good (except for the church of satan).
