I'm pretty sure they called them the Vietcong. Even after they became the National Liberation Front, we still called them the Vietcong.

they called them quite alot of names, some more racial and collorfull than others. Slant-eye, zipper-eye, charlie, nips, gooks, and a number of others.

It wasn't Vietcong, It was Vietcon (Communist Vietnam, or North Vietnam)
