No worries; I won't bash you. But I fail to see where a lack of beleif in God equates a lack of beleif in Love. Love is a strong emotional attachment that can be aimed both at material goods and people (including oneself). Emotions aren't scraped away because one comes to the conclusion that there is no God. Ergo, yes, I beleive in Love. Being Atheist comes seperately, since my religious views live in an entirely different neighborhood.

Nurturing, compassion, sympathy to name 3 of the ingredients for loving another human being. Without them there wouldn't really be a thing call love. Making someone smile, helping them even if you/your attempt wasn't really a help at least the attempt was enough to merit a "thank you for trying", seeing a person in desperate need of something perhaps a bite to eat, walking up to someone who look like they could use someone to talk to them show how to smile. Respecting something you might be against and be happy for them even if you don't agree.
So you ASSume we don't know a thing about love? Love is an emotional thing can make you feel good as well rip you a part. I love much as humanly possible the only time I may not love is when someone is using me and I can feel or know it.

And no offense to you either....but what does lack of or being spiritual have to do with loving a person? Im just totally clueless. Being "in love" or loving a person including yourself, is and can be very emotional. I think thats what singles humans out from most other species. We have the capacity to care for and nurture, but to also love an individual with all our heart. Religion - no matter what you are has nothing to do with it.
Love is not racist or cruel, nor does it single out religious gender or beliefs. It goes beyond that. It has no barriers.

Well, um, yeah, but only until she ran away with the neighbour's wife.
OK, serious, atheists are still human.
Why do you think they would be different?
Or are you just talking about your imaginary skydaddy type love?
Because if that is the case I must point out to you that in spite of all the feel good baloney you get told, the only reason they preach about God's love for you being shown by murdering his own kid is just using guilt as a hook to catch you like a fish.

Yes, I believe when the chemicals(I won't go into their names) in your brain interact with each other just right you feel what people call "love." I don't see how having a belief in G-d makes one susseptible to love. There are many kinds of love, do we not love our parents? Do we not love our significant others? Just because I do not love a being whom I believe is superior it does not mean I will lack that feeling for others who I KNOW exists.

I don't understand why you would ask that? Have you never met an athiest before? I hope this doesn't sound like a rude response, because that's not how it is meant. You must be really sheltered, and I'm sorry for that.

Yes. Why wouldn't I? I can and do feel this, but I don't connect it to any magical beings.
Is it not us that often wish the whole world would cool it, that religion world-wide would cool and, and just work together toward a better world for all? And people would think we don't believe in love?

As I understand Quantum Physics, debris are studied by applying their relation to different debris. The debris in Quan Phys are too small to be rapidly noted. So according to this understanding you have "faith" of their life. an identical is actual interior the thought of God (or the different Deity or concept gadget). study the bible, attend church, be conscious the strikes of religious persons. as quickly as you spot the interactions you will see the artwork of unseen debris of their and your existence. Does God exist? i will't enable you recognize, although i don't believe so. Does a Quark Exist?... Bless, Brother Reggie

Of course.
.. but.. we can't "see" love, right? Just like we can't "see" god? :)
Ah yes, but I can "feel" it. Love is not a concrete thing but rather an abstract, and varies in definition and experience from person to person. I experience the phenomenon myself, every day. Therefore the answer to your question is "Yes!"
edit: Lazarus! You need a hug too! (((Lazarus))) What has made you so bitter?
